Troop Mission Statement
The mission of Boy Scout of America and Troop 957 is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. In particular, we will emphasize respect for and service toward others, the community, country, and world.
We will accomplish this by providing a stimulating and supportive Scouting program that enhances growth through both intellectual and physical activities. We will also work to develop leadership capabilities by providing training, excellent role models, and opportunities to lead within the troop. The outdoor program will enhance self-reliance and respect for the environment.
